2012

Ah, 2012. How our society loves thee. Whether to exploit for personal gain, or to cower in fear because of, it seems our infatuation with one particular point in space-time is beyond all rational critique. Even so, the potential that this date holds–as a unifying signifier–is certainly impressive. Just think of it: what if the entire world’s population stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky? No more wars, no more oppression, no more hate, no more pollution, no more crime…just humanity united in its astonishment of a cosmic alignment that perhaps may never be witnessed again.

Yet not only physically, or materially impressive, this united front could offer the world a real catalyst for restructuring our institutions and global systems. Indeed, such a critical mass might offer the mechanism to produce a planetary shift for integral evolutionary enlightenment.

In this way, the body, mind, and spirit of the universe would essentially provide for the structure of a subtle force to be manifested out of the causal nature of cosmic intent–the descent of spirit into matter.

Can you imagine Consciousness without identity? Can you embody the process of ego-loss in order to experience Unitive Consciousness? As unborn awareness comes forth in form, we have the option of awakening to the rebirth of a new self. We have the option of living life according to principles of Non-Duality. Time is merely the distance between historic points in space. Einstein taught us that energy always exhibits mass in whatever form the energy takes. What form will our energy take?

Will love transform the world or will we just blow up?
